Below are some of the most common questions we hear from clients. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Contact us and we’ll be happy to help. ❓ When should I sign up for Medicare?
Most people should enroll during their Initial Enrollment Period (IEP)—a 7-month window starting 3 months before turning 65. If you're already receiving Social Security, you’ll be automatically enrolled in Parts A and B. ❓ What’s the difference between Medicare Parts?
❓ Do I have to pay for Medicare?
Yes, but costs vary: Part A is usually premium-free if you’ve worked at least 10 years. Part B has a monthly premium (adjusted based on income). Part C and D plans vary by carrier and coverage. We help you compare costs to find what works best for your budget. ❓ What is Medicare Advantage?
❓ What is a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plan?
Medigap plans help cover the out-of-pocket costs (like deductibles and coinsurance) that Original Medicare doesn’t. These plans work alongside your Part A and B coverage but do not include drug coverage—so you’ll still need a separate Part D plan. ❓ How do I know which plan is right for me?
❓ Can I change my plan after I enroll?
Yes. The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) from October 15 to December 7 allows you to switch or adjust your Medicare coverage. There are also Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs) if you experience certain life changes (like moving or losing employer coverage). ❓ How much does it cost to meet with you?
❓ Will you help me every year?
Absolutely. We offer annual plan reviews to make sure your coverage still fits your needs. Whether your health changes, your medications change, or plans change—we’re here to help, year after year.
